I miss vacation....

What a rough week! I know it's only Wednesday, but still...It's so hard to get back in the swing of things! Tonight was church, and that always makes me feel happy, stressed, and relieved. Weird, I know, but let me explain. Happy, because I'm with like believers and friends...stressed, because I teach a room full of (very energetic and loud) kindergarteners and first graders, and relieved, because I know I'm making a difference in not only my life, but in those darling children's lives as well. I just love those smiling faces and innocent minds. They truly make me smile no matter what kind of day I'm having. Thanks kiddos!

This was an amazing time...I really thought going to some Bassmasters tournament just wasn't my kind of thing. I was looking up where nearest scrapbook stores were...but I tell you what, I had the greatest time ever! It was so emotional seeing these men put there all into a sport they love. This WAS their 9-5 job. I admit, when he won, and broke down on stage...that was real tear jerker...this was his dream, and he won! How amazing, what a feeling! And also there was a first at the classic, a WOMAN bassmaster! How cool, she was the first ever to qualify to fish the classic. I have a new found love of fishing...we had a great time away, the hardest part was coming back! Thanks to those who took care of my children...more pics to come...

What a dreamer!

Bucko....my dog. He thinks he's a super dog, he thinks he has to guard the horse all day long. He thinks he has to herd her, too. I know it's in his blood, but come on! All day every day, he's out there trying to keep her in line. He's been kicked over and over again, but that doesn't stop him, neither does rain, or snow, or even an ice storm! Good ol' Bucko!

I'm so glad today is my "friday"! We're off to Bossier City, LA tomorrow morning, compliments of Suddenlink! (keep paying those cable bills!) Thanks to my sister for watching three rowdy boys, and my mother-in-law for watching one very spoiled little girl....

Raymond won a trip to Shreveport this weekend, so that will be nice to get away.
It's been a long time since it's been just Raymond and I. Not sure if we'll make it to the Bassmasters open......

Sweet little Maddy girl can not only write HER name, but can write MOM!
I can't believe it, she is only 3...1/2. She is so smart, she loves to read and write. She always wants to practice in her wipe-off books.
This blog thing will be entertaining for me you know. Now my house will never be clean!
Being stuck in this house with boys who hate to talk is kind of nerve racking at times. I feel like I talk my friends ears off at work...then on the weekend, I have no one!
Raymond has been working a lot lately. Surely they have most everyone back up from the ice storm. Hopefully this week is back to normal.
