Notepads!

Here are some notepads I made for my teacher friends. I made these from cardstock, patterned paper, CTMH stamps and inks, and brads. Super fun to make and I hope my friends enjoy these as much as I had making them! Don't worry Sara...you'll get one too! LOL!

This is my Altered Roladex. I bought a roladex from Staples, taped four of the pages together ( for strength), then added paper and embellishments. I LOVE this project!!

Summer Fun!

This is an album I made using paper bags, CTMH papers, and a box. Very unique and fun to make...thanks Sandy!

Photo Box

This is a photo box I made out of chipboard and envelopes, and canvas. I wondered what to with my wedding pictures for many years...I watched a you tube video, and learned how to make this sweet little box. I changed a few things from the original instructions to better suit what I wanted, and it came out perfect!!! Yay! I love you tube!!!

Inside the envelopes you put the pics on cardstock, and decorate. Super easy and fun to do. What a nice gift...in fact both my moms got these nifty boxes filled with photos of their lovely grandchildren for Mother's Day this year. They loved them.

We had so much fun! There were about 40 people there. Wow! A lot food, and family. We ate mexican food, burritos, tacos, carne asada, corn dip, pico de gallo, cheese dip.....yumm! The kids had fun doing fireworks while we were visiting inside.....fun family times, just wish we got together more often!

Happy....

This is my 'Happy" album. I made this as a gift...but I just might have to keep this one and make another. I used Fancy Pants paper, chipboard and envelopes for pages, and all kinds of embellishments...clips, brads, flowers, staples, ribbon.....you name it! I sure hope the person I give it to is "happy"!!!

Much Needed Getaway!

A little late posting this...but, I have to do it. In April about 20 ladies all got together(thanks to Brandi at SA) at a house on the river and got to scrapbook for 3 whole days!!!! No husbands...no kids....no cooking...we were definitely pampered. We got a lot accomplished that weekend. I made some super cute things! I will post pics of those later. Thank you my dear friends for enjoying the weekend with me....

Lovewell Live Tour

My friend and I had an AMAZING time in Little Rock a few weeks ago. We saw the Lovewell Live Tour with Natalie Grant, Brandon Heath, and Mercy Me. We got to meet Brandon and he signed our shirts.......sigh. He was so nice to us! He only let three people get their pic taken with him, and we were two of them. The concert was at Church at Rock Creek, a huge, beautiful church....really big! It had a coffee shop in it for goodness sakes! It was nice to get away and have fun and let our hair hang loose....we all need that once in awhile.

Long Time.....

Wow.....it's been a LONG time since I have been on here. Life gets you busy, and blogging is the last thing I think about. The boys had a great season of basketball, and Dakota is in baseball now. Maddy is in TBall.....this should be interesting! Life is good, I'm pretty boring, so nothing else been going on.....I do have a new twitter account, and a Gowalla account....won't Sara be proud!!!!
