Great Christmas!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! These were taken on Christmas Eve...my sister and her children, and my dad came over. We had enchiladas, rice, and beans...a Texas Christmas! Had a great Christmas Day with the inlaws, and the most important thing is....I got a Wii....finally! Now I can beat Tori and Bri.....come on girls.....

Turkey Day…

Almost time for turkey, mashed taters, sweet potatoes, carrots, pie…..yum! This year things are a little messed up. At first, I had to cook dinner all by myself (never done before). Then I talked my sis into coming over, and inviting my dad. This will be the first time in a long time that we have spent Thanksgiving together. I can’t wait.

My friend Lindsey is getting married! Today I took her engagement pictures.....T.J. is hilarious! They make the sweetest couple, and I hope they have a wonderful marriage and a long life together. Congrats you two!

My Little Pumpkin...

Maddy actually wanted to get her picture taken Sunday. I went and got a hay bale...well, actually Dakota is the one who hopped the fence and walked with the bale of hay for 50 yards(right passed a very mean looking bull).....anyways, got a pumpkin to put on the porch with a few mums (haven't got yet). Trying to be festive, I love fall. The smells, the crisp air, sleeping with the windows open, hot cocoa, sweaters, marshmallows in the fire pit....love..love this season. Need to head over to Rhonda's and pics of the kiddos for Christmas for my mom. I need to make her a book, but I haven't scrapped in so long, I don't remember how! I've been a bad blogger too. Just been a lot going on lately. My boys will be 15 on Friday. I'm getting old.

My goofy boys, what can I say? They hate to let me take pics but I managed to sneak these in on Saturday. Hopefully I'll get to take some more before school starts. Speaking of which, vacation is over and time to get back to work....getting up early is going to be the hardest part. Post more tomorrow, going to watch a movie and relax!

Maddy's first Spa!

Usually when Maddy sees me doing this girly stuff, she screams and runs! But last night.....she wanted to join in. We did our faces, feet, and hands...what fun! I can't believe summer is gone, and next week I go to work!!!! Where did the summer go? Looking forward to a great year at school though.

Grandkids...

These beautiful babes are my dear friend Tana's grandkids. This was my first time taking pics for someone other than myself....and it was not easy! I learned that i need to practice composition a little more and try not to get too close. That will be hard because i love close ups! I had a wonderful time and these precious children were absolutely wonderful!!!

Thursday...con't

We had such a great time at Tana's house. We ate hot dogs, made smores, and rode horses. Little Lily is so sweet...she was scared at first, but soon became friends with Tuffy the miniature horse. Maddy didn't want anything to do with the horses...which surprised me. She usually likes to ride. She made new friends with Bailey, Tana's grandaughter. That kept her busy most of the night.

Lisa and her family came too. I do think Tylar and Tucker had fun...Kelly and kids came too, but those pics are on another camera since mine went dead! I can't believe I didn't charge that crazy thing!!!!

Thursday...

I've been learning to play around with photoshop lately. Taking an online class seems to help a lot! This picture has an overlay....next I'm learning about masks. Nothing much new going on. Had a great time scrapping with friends on Friday. I sure needed that. And Michelle made a book!!! I can't wait to see it. Friday I go to my lovely friend's house to capture some precious grandaughter moments. I hope she's happy with the end results. I've been hooked on books, thanks to a friend (Jessi ). Lately I'm loving Dean Koontz. All so far are awesome! Saturday, Raymond had his 20 year school reunion....that was fun. I got to meet Stephanie's ( a scrapping buddy) sister. We concluded the night with dinner at the Lakehouse....yummy! Now that you're all caught up on my life....I'll leave you with this....

Happy Fourth!

We had a relaxing day at home today. Raymond smoked some ribs, pork tenderloin, and roast....I made fresh squash, cabbage, and fried potatoes...yummy! Took the boys to Galaxy to get some fireworks, they were packed! I can't believe how much money they made while I was there.....people spend money on silly stuff I guess...I was there too!!!
Had fun playing with my camera, I haven't been playing much. Maddy had to put her hair in three pigtails while she was at Mamaw's today. Then I had to take a picture of it. I'm tired and ready for bed....Have a great Sunday!
